The Louisville Thruston Chapter celebrates National Flag Day each year by holding its Flag Day/Homecoming Luncheon Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Louisville Boat Club and will feature Ms. Joni Bryan, founder of the 1917 Society. Ms. Bryan will discuss the history of the 1917 Society and share the story of its rapid growth and exciting mission to educate our youth on the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. In addition, Mike King and Pat McMurchie will offer some historical background to some of the many flags in the chapter’s inventory.
